Service to the North Pole area since 1978

The North Pole Rotary Club meets at Noon on Wednesdays at
the "Leaf and Bean" Restaurant in North Pole, Alaska.

The North Pole Rotary Club was chartered in 1978 and has 12 members, including 2 charter members. Our most recent project was to install a bus shelter near a school and senior housing complex. For our Centennial Project, we developed an outdoor sports park for skateboarders and BMX riders. Over 14 years ago, we installed a gazebo in a local park that we developed and we continue to oversee the upkeep of the gazebo. Five years ago, we "adopted" a mile in the state's Adopt-A-Mile program, and at least two times a year we do our best to keep our mile clean. We host the North Pole Health Fair and provide turkeys for Thanksgiving boxes. We sponsor a youth to the Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA), provide a four-year scholarship to a local high school student, adopt a family in need at Christmas, and support a Rotaract Club. Our primary fundraisers are selling roses, hosting a basketball tournament, and hosting a halibut fry with a silent auction.
